Any business needs certainty. Any company needs to know the landscape that they’re dealing with – or, at least, needs to be able to predict the conditions that will allow a plan to be rolled out. 2020 has obviously presented challenges to the economy that were unthinkable just 9 months ago, but here we are.
As businesses throughout Fife get back on their feet and slowly return to full capacity, we’ve tentatively started to have one cautious eye on the future. We’ve recently welcomed two new staff members to our office, added two new faces to our cleaning team and there’s a new supervisor too. Thoughts of a possible move to larger premises have also been spoken about.
It’s still very much a ‘wait and see’ scenario, but plans to expand beyond our traditional Fife stomping ground are also afoot. Then again, the same plans were being kicked around in February, so our ambitions aren’t new, but it’s only now that we can begin to speak about them again as a viable conversation on how Get It Done Cleaning Services will grow in the long term.
One thing’s for sure, we’re not taking our eye off the ball. Our clients in Cupar, Glenrothes, Kirkcaldy, Dunfermline and everywhere in between are more important than ever. They’re our bedrock, they’re the companies that have enabled us to be where we are today, so a big part of our thinking is how we grow whilst continuing to maintain the high standards that our existing clients enjoy.
But maintain high standards we will. And grow we will. All being well, 2021 will be the year that we offer our services to companies not only in Fife, but throughout Scotland.
In the meantime, we continue to offer deep-cleans, end of tenancy and our trademark office services every day at commercial premises across Fife as well as hand sanitiser stations, hand sanitiser itself, signage and all of the other now familiar products to help against Covid.
Who knows what the economic landscape will be like this time next year, there’s Brexit to consider too. But one thing IS for sure, our ambition will never diminish.
