Covid 19 – How we have adapted our cleaning procedure

Over the pandemic, we have been working extremely hard to help our clients in every way that we can to keep their premises and staff safe.

We have carried out a significantly higher amount of deep cleans and re-organised some of our regular cleaning schedules for our clients to suit their needs. The impact of Covid-19 has increased the demand for cleaners and are now deemed as essential workers and are one of the top priorities for companies.

We make sure to focus on hotspot cleaning. Hotspot cleaning is the process of disinfecting key areas or items that are touched frequently throughout the day. These objects include doorknobs, light switches, rails, elevator buttons, keyboards, coffee machines, printers, and any other surfaces that see frequent human contact.

We understand that office managers need high standards of cleaning therefore we have invested more time into staff training and acknowledgment of risk by providing a covid-19 risk assessment. The risk assessment reflects what measures we put in place when cleaning to help manage and mitigate potential risk. We make sure that not only our staff receive this assessment but also our clients, so they are aware fully of the procedures.

Cleaners can often be put under scrutiny by managers to provide high levels of cleaning however, our process and procedures have been derived from extensive research and the relationship we have built with every one of our clients in knowing what works best to arrive at this high level.

There are several different types of PPE, and this is according to the level of risk a person is exposed to. As we are carrying out anti-covid deep cleans for those who have had a positive case of coronavirus within the premises our exposure levels are high. As a result of this we have invested in all the correct PPE  in order to protect both our staff and clients.

We have invested more profits into additional cleaning products that we believe to be the most effective in the fight against coronavirus, whiling going down the environmentally friendly route.

Adding these extra steps is a critical part of making and keeping your business ‘COVID-secure’.
